The ability to inspire someone is a characteristic trait, which all do not have. As a true philanthropist Shagufta Hanaphie is a person with that rare quality. She donates substantial time supporting special causes, that need to be addressed. She desires to bring in meaningful changes to the society with her unstinted support, be it in case of saving lives threatened with natural calamities, be it in case of children and women from slum areas or many such other issues. One of her recent philanthropic events was appreciated by many. The Jail Inmates’ Photo Exhibition held recently at The Harrington Art Centre along with Pride Awards is one such example.
